Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. - The Molloy athletic department has been named the ECC Cares Award recipients for raising the most money per student-athlete for collective causes during the 2018-2019 academic year.

Molloy athletics raised just over $17,000 for causes this year, which equates to $47 per student-athlete. As a department, they raised over $5,000 for Make-A-Wish through various fundraisers and concession stand sales throughout the year as well as $2,000 for the Our Lady of Loretto Sponsor a Family Program. Individual teams also rallied to raise funds for their causes such as Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer, Making Strides for Breast Cancer, Shootout Soldiers, Go4theGoal Foundation and the American Cancer Society

Molloy was recognized at the East Coast Conference Awards Dinner where they received a plaque and a $500 grant for 2019-2020.
