New Orleans - Seven cross country teams from
the East Coast Conference have earned USTFCCA 2010 Division II
All-Academic Cross Country status. Four women’s teams and
three men’s teams make the list.
The four women’s teams earning the honor include C.W. Post,
Dowling, Molloy, and St. Thomas Aquinas. The four schools were one
of 107 institutions to earn the honor. St. Thomas Aquinas, the 2010
ECC Women’s Cross Country Champions, take home the highest
team GPA in the ECC at 3.61.
C.W. Post, Dowling, and Molloy are among 68 institutions who
earned the honor on the men’s side. Molloy came in with the
highest GPA among the ECC schools at 3.30.
To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, the team
must have a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or better and have compiled
a score (finished at least five runners) at their respective NCAA
regional championship.
