Central Islip, NY-Molloy College Sophomore Ryan Hupfer has been tabbed the 2009 ECC Men's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Hupfer came in second place at the St. John's Invite with a time of 17:58.53 and finished 23rd at C.W. Post Invitational. At the ECC Championships, Ryan covered the 8K course in 30:37.9 to place 21st overall and help Molloy to a second place finish in the East Coast Conference. Hupfer is majoring in History and currently holds a 3.61 GPA.
East Coast Conference Scholar-Athlete of Year Awards are nominated by their institution and voted upon by the Faculty Athletic Representatives from each ECC institution.
