Central Islip, NY - Both Adelphi University and Dowling College earned top ten regional recognition in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association preseason Men's Cross Country Regional Ranking released on August 26.  Adelphi claimed a spot on the Women's Regional Ranking as well.

Coming in as the preseason favorite in the Men's East Coast Conference poll, the Panthers grabbed the #4 spot in the East Regional Ranking while Dowling squeaked in at #10 in just their second year of fielding a team.  On the women's side, Adelphi was the only ECC institution to make the poll, coming in with a #5 ranking.
