LIU Post's Londot Named Google Cloud Academic All-American

Austin, Texas - LIU Post senior volleyball standout, Rachel Londot, has been named a Google Cloud Division II Academic All-American as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Londot, who was a three-time ECC All-Conference honoree and the 2017 ECC Player of the Year, wrapped up her career by leading the Pioneers and finishing second in the ECC with 360 kills. She also finished second in the league with 50 service aces and third with 0.43 service aces per set and 3.09 kills per set. In addition, she finished in the top-10 in the ECC with 387 digs and 3.34 digs per set.

The 2017 ECC Women's Scholar-Athlete of the Year was nearly perfect in the classroom in her time at LIU Post. The senior Criminal Justice/Forensic Science major has compiled a 3.98 grade point average.

Nomination criteria for the Google Cloud Academic All-America program stats that student-athletes must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average whom have participated in at least 50 percent of their team's games. Nominated athletes also must have completed one full calendar year at his or her current institution and reach sophomore athletic eligibility.
