Oakdale, NY-Senior outside hitter Justyna Michon (Katowice,
Poland) was named the 2007 Daktronics Northeast Regional Player of
the Year in addition to earning First Team honors. Dowling also
placed Patrycja Klekotka (Siedlce, Poland) on the First Team while
libero Jessica Gall (Meadow Vista, CA) garnered Second Team
honors.
Named ECC Player of the Year earlier this week, Michon leads the
Golden Lions with a .365 hitting percentage and averages 4.29 kills
per game. Klekotka is fourth nationally in aces as she averages .90
per game and has 347 kills on the season while Gall currently has
772 digs on the season, averaging 5.44 per game.
