Mercy's Boots and Serna Earn All-America Status

After leading the squad to the Final Four, Mercy women's soccer standouts Ally Boots and Heidi Serna have been named All-Americans. Boots is a consensus All-American by appearing on the United Soccer Coaches and Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) teams, while Serna earned a spot on the D2CCA Second Team.

Boots was named to the United Soccer Coaches First Team and the D2CCA Honorable Mention list. The ECC Offensive Player of the Year scored 15 goals and added three assists for 33 points on the season. Seven of her 15 goals were game winners and she also tallied two hat tricks on the year.

Serna was named to the D2CCA Second Team after tallying 12 goals, eight assists, and 32 points on the year. She was also the Most Outstanding Player of the ECC Championship after tallying all four goals in the tournament for the Mavericks.
