Brookville, N.Y. - Before Wednesday afternoon's East Coast Conference Women's Soccer Championship semifinal, Jennifer Wendelius of the University of Bridgeport was honored as the East Coast Conference Elite 18 Award winner for her respective sport. The ECC Elite 18 honor is awarded to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average competing in each of the ECC's 18 championships.
Wendelius is a junior Marketing major with a cumulative grade point average of 3.97. A two-time ECC Goalkeeper of the Year, finished the 2017 season with 68 saves and a .782 save percentage.
