Kansas City, Mo. – The LIU Post
women’s soccer team moved up in the NSCAA Top 25 poll for the
third straight week, coming in at No. 7 in the latest rankings.
The Pioneers defeated both Mercy and Bridgeport last week to move
to 10-1-1 on the season and improve their winning streak to six
games.
LIU Post also took over the top spot in the East Region
rankings.
Dowling College, which improved to 7-2-1 with victories over
Chestnut Hill and Roberts Wesleyan, moved up to No. 4 in the East
Region poll. The Golden Lions are also listed in the Top 25 poll
this week in the others receiving votes category.
On the heels of a four game unbeaten streak, Queens College also
cracked the East Region poll for the second time this season. The
Knights came in at No. 10 after a win over Molloy and a tie with
Franklin Pierce.
