Kansas City, Mo. – The LIU Post
women’s soccer team continues their rise up the NSCAA Top 25
poll, coming in at No. 11 this week.
The Pioneers exploded for five and six goals respectively last week
in victories over Nyack and St. Thomas Aquinas to push their
winning streak to four games. They also sit in first place in the
ECC with a record of 3-0 to date.
With an 8-1-1 mark on the season, LIU Post climbs to their highest
ranking since the 2008 season. The squad is also ranked No. 2 in
the latest East Region poll as well.
Dowling College is the only other ECC member in the East Region
rankings, coming in at No. 6 after being idle last week.
