Kansas City, Mo. – Despite dropping their
first game of the season, the LIU Post women’s soccer team
continued to hold a spot in the NSCAA Top 25, coming in at No. 24
this week.
After breaking into the rankings a week ago at No. 18, the Pioneers
fell six spots after a 1-1-0 week in which they defeated Holy
Family, 2-1, but fell to Caldwell, 3-2.
Dowling College, which moved to 5-1-0 on the season with two wins
last week, was also included in the others receiving votes
category.
Both teams were the ECC’s only representation on the East
Region rankings as well. LIU Post comes in at the No. 3 spot, while
Dowling was close behind at No. 4.
