Kansas City, Mo. – On the heels of an
unbeaten start over the season’s first four games, the LIU
Post women’s soccer team has moved into the NSCAA Top 25
poll.
The Pioneers, victors over Georgian Court and Kutztown a week ago,
were listed at No. 18 in the latest NSCAA rankings. LIU Post, which
now sits at 3-0-1 on the season, moved in to the Top 25 after being
listed in the others receiving votes category of the poll a week
ago.
Dowling College falls out of the Top 25 after losing to New Haven
in their only contest last week. The Golden Lions remain regionally
ranked however, coming in at No. 7 in the East Region poll.
LIU Post also joins Dowling in the East Region listing, moving up
to No. 2 behind nationally top-ranked, St. Rose.
