Kansas City, Kan. - The University of
Bridgeport Women’s Soccer team holds on to its No. 1 regional
ranking, as well as continuing their ascent of the NSCAA national
rankings released on September 20. C.W. Post and Dowling have both
maintained their spots in the latest regional polls.
Bridgeport maintained its claim on the top spot in the NSCAA
regional rankings after a week in which they defeated regional
opponent Southern New Hampshire, along with conference foe Mercy
College. This week also saw the UB women claim a spot in the
national Top 5 for the first time this season; moving up to the No.
5 position.
Bridgeport is joined in the regional polls by fellow conference
members C.W. Post and Dowling. Both schools hold claims to the No.
10 spot in the rankings, down from the last poll after both teams
went 1-1 in games for the week.
