Kansas City, Kan. - The University of
Bridgeport women’s soccer team continues their climb up the
national rankings this past week by staying unbeaten. Both
Bridgeport and C.W. Post remain in the regional polls, while
Dowling joins for the first time this season.
Bridgeport rose to No. 7 in the latest NCAA national rankings
released September 13th after defeating Georgian Court 6-0.
Bridgeport also jumped to the top spot in the East region in the
most recent NSCAA regional rankings after beginning the season at
No. 2.
C.W. Post remains at No. 7 after defeating Pittsburgh-Johnstown 7-0
at home this week. Dowling checks in for the first time at No. 9 on
the heels of two victories over regional opponent Felician, as well
as conference foe St. Thomas Aquinas.
