Kansas City, Kan. - The University of
Bridgeport women’s soccer team enters the Top 25 for the
first time after beginning their season with two victories over
regional opponents. They are joined in the regional polls by
fellow conference member C.W. Post.
Bridgeport checks in at No. 17 in the NCAA national rankings
released on September 5 after having been just outside the Top 25
in the pre-season rankings. They sit at No. 2 in the East in the
first NSCAA regional rankings of the season on the heels of two
victories over American International College and UMass Lowell.
Joining Bridgeport is C.W. Post, who comes in at No. 7 after
splitting the week with a win and a loss.
