Kansas City, Mo. - The C.W. Post
women’s soccer team remains at the No. 16 spot in the NSCAA
national rankings this week, while three other ECC members join the
Pioneers on the NCAA and NSCAA regional polls.
C.W. Post, currently on a 12 game unbeaten streak, also comes in at
No. 2 on the NSCAA East Region Poll. Queens College and Bridgeport
traded spots from the previous week, with Bridgeport moving to No.
6 and Queens falling to No. 7. Dowling rounds out the ECC members
on the poll, coming in at No. 10.
The NCAA rankings released on October 27 featured three East Coast
Conference members. C.W. Post was the top ECC squad at No. 4.
Bridgeport also jumped over Queens in the NCAA poll, moving from
No. 9 last week to No. 7 this week. Queens dropped a spot, falling
from eighth to ninth. Dowling, which was ranked on last
week’s NCAA poll, has fallen out of the top ten.
