Brookville, N.Y. - Prior to Thursday's East Coast Conference Championship semifinal match, Mackenzie Hitchcock of LIU Post was honored as the ECC Elite 18 Award winner for the sport of wmen's lacrosse. The ECC Elite 18 honor is awarded to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average competing in each of the ECC's 18 championships.
Hitchcock is a junior account major who currently holds a 3.99 GPA. On the field, Hitchcock has played in 16 games, 12 of which were starts, and has compiled eight goals and 11 assists for 19 points.
