Central Islip, N.Y. - National semifinalist C.W. Post along with Dowling College and Molloy College were among the nine Division II programs tabbed as 2009 Academic Squads by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association on August 10. 

Teams that have a collective GPA of 3.0 or greater earn the distinction of Academic Squad; the squads with the three highest team GPAs earned the honor of being named a Merit Squad. West Chester led all schools with a team GPA of 3.407 and was named a Merit Squad, as were Gannon and Belmont Abbey.
