Daemen's Titus Named D2CCA First Team All-American & East Region Player of the Year

East Coast Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Year, Katie Titus, of Daemen University has continued to earn postseason accolades. Titus was recently named the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) East Region Player of the Year and also earned a spot on the D2CCA All-America First Team.

Titus was the leading scorer in the ECC this season and ranked ninth in all of Division II averaging 20.5 points per game. She also led the league with 212 field goals made and an 88.9 free throw percentage. Titus added 8.4 rebounds per game and also contributed defensively with 1.2 blocks per game and 1.6 steals per game. Her rebounds and blocks per game totals ranked in the top-10 of the conference.

Titus was joined on the All-East Region squad by ECC Defensive Player of the Year, Gabriella Aspuru of Molloy College. Aspuru was a Second Team selection after 16.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.9 blocks, and 1.9 steals per game.
