Austin, Texas - Roberts Wesleyan women's basketball standout, Emily Miller, has been named a CoSIDA Division II Women's Basketball Academic All-American. Miller earned a spot on the Third Team.
Miller is a sophomore forward who boasts a perfect 4.0 grade point average as a Marketing major. She is one of seven selections on the Academic All-America squad with a perfect GPA. This is the second academic honor she has received this seaso, as she was also recently named the winner of the East Coast Conference's Elite 18 award. The Elite 18 award is given to the student-athlete with the highest GPA competing in each of the conference's 18 championships.
Miller excelled on the court for the Redhawks, as well. She finished the year with averages of 14.5 points per game and 9.0 rebounds per game, while also shooting 45.8 percent from the floor. Her play earned her a spot on the ECC All-Conference Second Team.
