Wilson and Carberry Named to Division II Bulletin All-America Teams

Central Islip, N.Y. – Danielle Wilson of Dowling and Tobin Carberry of LIU Post, the ECC Player of the Year in their respective sport, have been named to the Division II Bulletin All-America Team.

Wilson earns a spot on the First Team after leading the Golden Lions all the way to the NCAA Division II National Championship game in her only season at Dowling. The senior forward was a force in the pain for the Golden Lions, averaging a double-double of 17.1 points per game and 11.0 rebounds per game. Wilson, who was the ECC Defensive Player of the Year, finished the season ranked third in all of Division II with 2.94 blocks per game. She also finished the year ranked in the top 10 in Division II in field goal percentage (56.3%) and double-doubles (20), while her rebounding total narrowly missed a top 10 finish, coming in at No. 12.

Carberry was a Fourth Team selection after finishing second in the ECC with an 18.6 points per game average. The prolific scorer shot 45.7 % from the field and 39.9% from three point range. Carberry also pulled down 5.8 rebounds per game for the Pioneers.
