Central Islip, N.Y. – Senior forward Danielle Wilson (Bay Shore, N.Y.) of Dowling College has been named the 2013 Women's Basketball Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, while Kristen Korzevinski (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) of Queens College has been named the Rookie of the Year in voting by the conference's coaches.

She was also an intimidating figure in the paint for the Golden Lions, swatting away a conference leading 76 blocks. A four-time ECC Rookie of the Week, Korzevinski posted two 20 point games and 16 double digit scoring performances, including seven in a row to end the regular season, on the year.

Head Coach Bet Naumovski from Queens has been tabbed Coach of the Year.  Naumovski led the Knights to a remarkable turnaround in 2013.
