Central Islip, N.Y. - Molloy College Women’s Basketball player E.J. Dreyer has been named the 2010 East Coast Conference Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year. The senior forward was already named a Co-Women’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Dreyer boasts a perfect 4.0 GPA as a Nursing major and was selected as the 2010 Molloy College Valedictorian. She is a stand-out on the court, helping to lead her team to an ECC Tournament title this season as well as the programs’ first ever win at the NCAA Regional Tournament. She averaged 7.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game to earn spots on the All-Conference and All-MET teams.
All female sport Scholar-Athletes of the Year are nominated for this award and are voted upon by the conference’s Senior Woman Administrators.
