Kelli Dunlay, the head women’s basketball coach at Mercy College, will be conducting a clinic for the Rockland Rockets CYO youth team on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at the Torne Valley Sports Complex in Hillburn, N.Y.
The clinic, for girls, ages 10 through 14 who are members of the Rockland Rockets, begins at 5:00 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m.
“It is important to give back to the community,” said Dunlay, a lifelong resident of Rockland County. “As a young girl, coaches gave their time to teach me the game, and it made me a better player. I want to do the same for these young girls.”
The women’s basketball team just concluded its first season under Coach Dunlay, posting a 4-23 record, including a 3-18 record in the highly competitive East Coast Conference.
