Central Islip, NY- Four teams from the East Coast Conference have once again placed themselves in contention for the NCAA Tournament, as dictated by the East Region Women's Basketball Poll released on March 3, 2010.
All four teams remain in the same place, as Molloy tops all ECC teams in the No. 6 spot, followed by Bridgeport at No. 7, while Dowling and C.W. Post are ranked 8th and 9th, respectively. Molloy finished regular season play by topping Dowling 65-61. Bridgeport concluded their regular season after defeating St. Thomas Aquinas 72-59. C.W. Post also finished on a high note, beating Queens College 68-52.
All four teams are still competing in the ECC Playoffs on March 6th and 7th.
NCAA selections will take place via a Web-cast selection show on NCAA.com, Sunday, March 7.
