Central Islip, N.Y. - Four teams from the East Coast Conference still hold a spot in the 2010 East Region Polls released on Wednesday.
After a week that saw several upsets in ECC play, the Molloy College Lions downed C.W. Post and jumped two spots into 6th place in the region. The University of Bridgeport Women's Basketball team fell one spot into 7th place in the region, after suffering a loss to the Golden Lions of Dowling College. With that win, Dowling moved up one spot into 8th place in the region. C.W. Post fell from 7th place to 9th place in the poll to round out the ECC representation in the East Region.
The regional rankings will be released weekly on Wednesdays through March 3, 2010. Selections will take place via a Web-cast selection show on NCAA.com, Sunday, March 7.
