Roberts Wesleyan's Craun and Luger Named Outdoor Track & Field Elite 18 Recipients

Williamsville, N.Y. - Roberts Wesleyan student-athletes Tanner Craun and Molly Luger were honored as the recipients of the East Coast Conference Elite 18 Award in the sports of men's and women's outdoor track & field at Saturday's ECC Championships. The ECC Elite 18 honor is awarded to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average competing in each of the ECC's 18 championships.

Craun is a junior Religion and Philosophy major with a 3.952 GPA. During the championship, Craun helped the Redhawks' 4x400m relay team to a second place finish in a time of 3:31.81.

Luger is a senior Nursing and Spanish double major whom has compiled a 3.986 GPA. Luger, a pole vaulter, did not compete in the ECC Outdoor Track & Field Championship and was not in attendance to receive her award. During the ECC Indoor Championship, she helped the Redhawks to the conference title with a fourth place vault of 2.90m.
