Joe Kiser sat in the bleachers at the C.W.
Post softball field Friday, looking pretty energetic for a guy
who hadn't had a full night's sleep since Tuesday.
Kiser, the father of Post sophomore pitching ace Sarah Kiser,
cheered his daughter on and exchanged greetings with fellow
softball parents whom he was meeting for the first time. It was a
moment Kiser had been dreaming about all season, one he envisioned
every time he sat down in the middle of a night at a computer at
his U.S. Air Force base in Qatar to follow his daughter's season on
the Internet.
