Indianapolis – For the first time since 2008, Molloy will compete in the NCAA Division II Men’s Soccer Championship. The Lions earned the No. 10 seed in the Super Region 1 bracket and will take on No. 7 American International.

Molloy (10-6-4) earned its first NCAA Championship berth in 13 years by winning the ECC Men’s Soccer Championship to claim the league’s automatic bid into the tournament. The Lion’s opening round opponent, AIC (14-4-1), earned the program’s first-ever berth after finishing as runner-up in the NE10 Championship. This will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs.

The Molloy vs. AIC matchup will take place on the campus of the University of Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia. The winner will advance to take on the No. 2 seeded hosts.

Charleston (17-1-1) is the defending Division II National Champion and has played in four of the past five National Championship matches.
