Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. - Aaron Denk-Gracia (Mannheim, Germany) of Mercy College was honored as the East Coast Conference Elite 19 Award winner for the sport of men's soccer prior to Wednesday's East Coast Conference Championship semifinal match. The ECC Elite 19 honor is awarded to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average competing in each of the ECC's 19 championships.
Denk-Gracia is a sophomore International Business major with a perfect 3.967 GPA. He was a key contributor on the field this season for the Mavericks, starting in all 18 games in the defensive backfield. He also has tallied one goal and one assist on the season.
