Indianapolis - East Coast Conference Champions, LIU Post, have earned their sixth straight NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship selection on Monday evening.
The Pioneers, two-time defending East Region Champions, have received the No. 1 seed in the bracket. after winning their fourth ECC title in the last five seasons, LIU Post enters the tournament with an unbeaten record of 17-0-1.
LIU Post will play host to half of the East Region bracket and receive a First Round bye. Their road to a National Championship will begin against either No. 4 seed, Franklin Pierce (12-5-0), or No. 5 seed, Merrimack (14-5-0), in the Second Round. The Pioneers have played Merrimack already this season, winning 5-0 on September 8, but have not played Franklin Pierce.
The other half of the East Region field has second seeded Adelphi hosting No. 3 Le Moyne and No. 6 Southern New Hampshire.
