LIU Post men's soccer standouts Per Forgaard and David Arvidsson have earned All-America recognition. Forgaard is a consensus All-America selection by being honored on both the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (DIICCA) teams.
Forgaard, the ECC Offensive Player of the Year, earns a spot on the First Team for both publications. This is the second straight NSCAA All-America nod and third straight DIICCA selection for Forgaard. The senior midfielder wrapped up his career by leading the ECC with 13 goals, 13 assists, and 39 points on the season.
Arvidsson earns a spot on the NSCAA All-America Third Team. An ECC All-Conference First Team pick, Arvidsson started 19 games on the back line for a Pioneers squad that allowed only 24 goals on the season.
