Brookville, N.Y. – ECC Offensive Player
of the Year, Eivind Austboe (Stavanger, Norway), has been named the
Daktronics Division II Men’s Soccer East Region Player
of the Year.
After a season-ending injury a year ago, Austboe came back with a
strong 2013 campaign. On the year he totaled 24 goals and dished
off 10 assists for 58 points on the season. His point total
currently ranks third in all of Division II.

was the ECC Defensive Player of the Year, while Forgaard was an
All-Conference First Team honoree and the Most Outstanding Player
of the ECC Men’s Soccer Championship.

the First Team selections.
Five ECC student-athletes were also honored with Second Team
All-Region status including Cemil Turan and Jonathon Watkin of LIU
