Kansas City, Kan. – East Coast Conference men's soccer standouts, Eirik Bjoernoe and Cemil Turan of LIU Post and Vinny Caccavale of NYIT, have been named National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Americans. Bjoernoe was a First Team selection, Turan was a Second Team pick, and Caccavale was a Third Team honoree.

Bjoernoe, an ECC All-Conference First Team member as a back, led the Pioneers and the ECC with 12 assists on the year. His assist total also ranked in the top ten in Division II. He was also an anchor on the back line that allowed the fewest goals in the ECC.

Turan, a two-time ECC Offensive Player of the Year, led the ECC in goals (15) and points (34). This marks his second straight NSCAA All-America selection and second All-America selection this year, after earning a spot on the Daktronics team last week.

Caccavale, a three-time ECC All-Conference First Team pick, earned the first All-America distinction of his career after posting 18 points on the year on six goals and six assists.

All three student-athletes were NSCAA All-East Region First Team selections. They were also joined by Danny Stoker, a senior back from Queens on the First Team.

Marco Jorgensen (LIU Post), Clayton Ulmer (Bridgeport), Jonathan Watkin (LIU Post), and William Koki (Mercy) were Second Team selections, while Andreas Olsen (LIU Post) and Matthew DiDonna (NYIT) earned spots on the Third Team.
