Kansas City, Mo. – Sophomore defender,
Clayton Ulmer of the University of Bridgeport, has been named a
Daktronics Division II Men’s Soccer Second Team
All-American.
Ulmer, the 2011 ECC Defensive Player of the Year and an ECC
All-Conference First Team selection, was a mainstay on the Purple
Knights’ back line that allowed only 1.42 goals per game.
Ulmer also chipped in offensively with one goal and three assists
on the season.
Also being honored by Daktronics as Honorable Mention All-Americans
are Eirik Bjoernoe and Andreas Olson of C.W. Post, and Danny Stoker
of Queens College.
