C.W. Post Remains in NSCAA National Top Five

C.W. Post Remains in NSCAA National Top Five

Kansas City, Kan. - The C.W. Post men’s soccer team fell in both the national and regional polls after being denied a victory for the first time this season.  A draw at home with NYIT was enough to drop them two spots in the NSCAA national poll to No. 5.

The Pioneers traded places atop the regional poll with Franklin Pierce for the second consecutive week, this time returning to the No. 2 spot.

St. Thomas Aquinas remains just outside the Top 25, having received votes in the coaches poll, as well as maintaining their No. 4 spot in the latest regional rankings on the heels of a week which saw them secure two victories. NYIT continued their climb up the polls as well, up one spot to No. 6 this week after their draw with C.W. Post, coupled with a defeat of Queens College. The three teams are joined once again by the University of Bridgeport, who rejoined the rankings at No. 10 after an overtime victory against Dowling.
