Kansas City, Kan. - The C.W. Post men’s
soccer team continued their climb up the latest NSCAA national and
regional rankings released September 20. Dowling dropped in the
rankings again, this time out of the Top 25 for the first time this
season. The ECC remains well represented in regional polls,
with five teams appearing in the latest rankings.
C.W. Post rose to No. 10 in the most recent national poll after
maintaining their perfect record with two wins against regional
opponents. After dropping to No. 25 in last weeks rankings, Dowling
dropped outside of the Top 25 following a draw with conference foe
Molloy.
C.W. Post has also claimed the No. 2 spot in the latest NSCAA
regional rankings, up one spot from last week, with Dowling holding
steady at No. 4. Fellow conference members St. Thomas Aquinas and
NYIT also improved their regional standings, rising to Nos. 5 and 6
respectively after unbeaten weeks. Mercy College is the newcomer to
the regional rankings this week, checking in at No. 9 for the first
time on the heels of three wins last week.
