Kansas City, Kan. - C.W. Post entered the Top
25 for the first time in the NSCAA rankings in the No. 15 spot
released September 13. Fellow conference member, Dowling
College men’s soccer team dropped in the national rankings
after starting the season ranked No. 4 in the country. A total of
five ECC members are represented in regional rankings.
Dowling suffered its first defeat of the season this past week,
falling 1-0 to regional opponent Southern New Hampshire. The loss
drops Dowling to No. 25. C.W. Post checks in at No. 15 following
two wins over Concordia and Dominican to remain unbeaten on the
year.
C.W. Post also ascended to No. 3 in the most recent NSCAA regional
polls, followed by Dowling at No. 4. They are joined in the
regional rankings by St. Thomas Aquinas, New York Institute of
Technology, and Bridgeport who came in at Nos. 8, 9, and 10
respectively.
