Dowling and STAC in Men’s Soccer Regional Rankings; Golden Lions in NSCAA National Poll

Indianapolis - For the third consecutive week, the Dowling College and the St. Thomas Aquinas College men’s soccer teams remain ranked in the NCAA Division II Men’s Soccer East Region Poll, released by the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Committee on October 18.

Dowling, currently in first place in the East Coast Conference with a record of 9-1-3 overall and 4-0-1 in conference play, come in this week at the No. 4 spot. In the NSCAA polls, the Golden Lions jumped back into the national rankings in the No. 20 spot and moved up a spot to No. 3 in the region. This is their third appearance in the national polls this season, and the first since the poll for the week of September 21.

St. Thomas Aquinas moved up one spot this week to No. 5 in the NCAA poll with a record of 12-1-1. The Spartans also came in at No. 5 on the NSCAA East Region Poll.

The final regular-season poll will be published November 2 and championship selections will take place November 8. Selections will be announced at 7 p.m. Eastern time, Monday, November 8 via a webcast selection show on NCAA.com.
