Rockville Centre, N.Y. - Four East Coast Conference men's soccer players have been selected to the Daktronics All-East Region First and Second Teams, released on November, 17.
ECC Offensive Player of the Year of the Year, Jose Batista (Sr., M, Molloy) was named to the All-East Region First Team.
ECC Defensive Player of the Year, Juan Vargas (Sr., D, Dowling) was joined by teammates and ECC First Team All-Stars Moussa Keita (Sr., M, Dowling) and Lamine Traore (Sr., F, Dowling) on the Second Team.
Wilmington University forward Sargbah Tarpeh was named the 2009 Daktronics, Inc. East Region Men's Soccer Player of the Year.
Batista will advance to the All-America ballot along with all of the First Team selections. The All-America teams are scheduled for release on December 1.
