University of Bridgeport's Mike Tester was named ECAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. Natalie Edward of Queens College earned ECAC Volleyball Player of the Week honors and Ify Anene (Adelphi) was named Women's Cross Coutnry Runner of the Week.

Tester was perfect in 165:57 of play in two matches, as he made eight total saves, shared one shut out and posted a solo shut out in UB's 5-0 ECC-opening victory at C.W. Post on Saturday. In a 3-0 win against Nyack on Thursday, Mike came in the game to make five saves to share the shut out with teammate Milos Suljagic. At C.W. Post, he made three saves to post his solo clean sheet.

Edward was named Co-MVP of the Bentley Tournament after recording 30 kills and 13 blocks.  In a 3-1 week, Edward tallied 61 kills, nine aces, 19 digs, and 19 blocks, while hitting .419.  The middle blocker had 17 kills and eight digs against Bridgewater, and at UMass-Lowell, Edward registered 14 kills and four blocks.

Anene placed seventh overall at the 41st annual Codfish Bowl in Boston, Massachusetts and was the second collegiate runner across the finish line.  Her time of 18:43 helped the Panthers to a second place overall finish.
