Perry, N.Y. - After a 19 point outburst last week, Tom Engelhardt of Molloy College has been named the USILA Division II Offensive Player of the Week.
Engelhardt, who was named the ECC Player of the Week on Monday, helped the Lions to a pair of wins a week ago. He scored three goals and dished out three assists in the 20-10 win over Dominican, and followed that up with eight goals and five assists versus UDC. The 13 points against the Firebirds tied a program record for a single game and also equaled an ECC season-high. Engelhardt also had 13 ground balls on the week.
He becomes the sixth ECC student-athlete to be honored as a USILA Division II Player of the Week this season and the fourth to be honored as the Offensive Player of the Week.
