Perry, N.Y. - NYIT junior attacker, Luke
Miller, has earned the USILA's Lt. Raymond J. Enners Award as the
Most Outstanding Player in NCAA Division II men's lacrosse.
Miller, the ECC Player of the Year and a USILA All-American First
Teamer, finished his season with 85 points on 36 goals and an ECC
leading 49 assists. His point total was good for 5.31 points per
game, a number good for second in Division II. In addition, Miller
shared the Lt. Col. J.I. (Jack) Turnbull Award with Adelphi's
Sal Tuttle as the Most Outstanding Attackman in Division II.
Miller's teammate and fellow USILA All-American First Team
selection, Danny McDermott, also earned one of the USILA's top
awards. The ECC Defensive Player of the Year earned the Longpole
Midfielder Award. The top defender on a team that finished fifth in
Division II in allowing only 7.13 goals per game, McDermott
finished second in the ECC with 33 caused turnovers and scooped up
