East Coast Conference members took home five spots in the latest
United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association’s NCAA
Division II, including C.W. Post who moves back into the top
spot.
The Pioneers, who began the season ranked at No. 1, take over the
top of the poll for the first time since the Week Four poll. C.W.
Post wrapped up the regular season with a 16-1 record and will be
looking for their third straight National Championship in the
upcoming NCAA Division II opponent.
Mercyhurst, who will take on the Pioneers in the NCAA National
Semifinal, is the next ECC squad in the poll coming in at No.
3.
Rounding out the remaining members of the ECC members on the poll
are Dowling at No. 6, followed by Mercy at No. 7 and NYIT at No.
8.
Chestnut Hill and Seton Hill were also included among the teams
that received votes.
