Five ECC schools have been listed in the United States
Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association’s NCAA Division II
national rankings for the third week in a row.
The same five schools from last week’s rankings once again
made the list, but once again in different spots on the poll.
C.W. Post bounced back from their first defeat of the season at the
hands of conference foe Dowling by defeating NYIT 9-5. The Pioneers
now hold a 10-1 record on the year and move to No. 3 in this
week’s rankings.
Following up the Pioneers is Mercyhurst at No.4. The Lakers
improved to 7-1 on the year with a 16-8 victory over Dowling. C.W.
Post and Mercyhurst will meet in a pivotal ECC battle this Saturday
at C.W. Post.
Next up in the rankings is Dowling. The Golden Lions fall two spots
to No. 5 after the defeat to Mercyhurst.
Mercy continues the run off ECC members in the poll, coming in at
No. 6. The Mavericks are now 8-1 on the year after getting by Lake
Erie, 12-9.
Rounding out the ECC members on the poll is NYIT, who remains in
eighth place despite dropping to 4-3 with the loss to C.W.
Post.
Limestone remains in the No. 1 spot in the poll as the only
undefeated team left in Division II with a 10-0 record.

Five in USILA Poll for Third Straight Week
