Central Islip, N.Y. - Senior defender Chris Eline from Mercyhurst College was tabbed the 2010 ECC Men’s Lacrorsse Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

A First Team All-Conference recipient, Eline has been a mainstay on the field for the Lakers the past four years.  He captained his team to a 13-1 record as the Lakers finished as ECC Tri-Champions this season.  Eline holds a 3.7 GPA as a Sports Medicine Major and will attend Maryland School of Dentistry in the Fall.  This season, Eline was named to the USILA All-America Second Team as well as a USILA Scholar All-American.

East Coast Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year Awards are nominated by their institution and voted upon by the Faculty Athletic Representatives from each ECC institution.
