Biondolillo and Cama Garner Top Awards

Central Islip, N.Y. - The USILA announced its special award winners for Division II and Division III and Joe Biondolillo (Sr., LSM, Dowling) and Michael Cama (Sr., Specialist, C.W. Post) were among the honorees.

Biondolillo earns Long Pole Midfieler of the Year for the second consecutive time.  The reigning Division II LSM of the Year, Biondolillo didn't dissapoint in his senior season, helping lead the Golden Lions to the NCAA semifinals with three goals and 11 assists (the latter being the third-highest total on Dowling's roster) in addition to 16 caused turnovers and 48 groundballs. After an early March lost to Mercyhurst, Dowling went on an 11-game win streak prior to the one-goal NCAA semifinals loss to C.W. Post, and Biondolillo was the engine that drove the team.

A terror for opposing coaches in the face-off game, Cama defended his 2009 Speciality Player of the Year award and earned a third-straight All-America selection (and second straight first-team nod) with a gaudy 71% number at the X and 184 groundballs this spring. Cama also had five points on the season, scoring three goals and assisting two others.
