Central Islip, N.Y. - Senior defender Chris Eline from Mercyhurst College has been named a 2010 USILA Scholar All-American.
A sports medine major who boasts a 3.7 GPA, Eline was selected to the 2010 ECC All-Conference First Team as well as being named to the USILA All-American Second Team. He has been a mainstay on the field for the Lakers for his four year career and maintained over a 3.0 GPA during his tenure at Mercyhurst.
Eline is one of seven Division II student-athletes to be named to the 70 person list. Over half of the honorees hail from Division III schools while 23 were selected from Division I institutions.
