Central Islip, NY- The C.W. Post Pioneers remain undefeated and atop the most recent USILA Division II Coaches poll released on April 5, 2010. The Pioneers moved to 10-0 this week, and garnered 7 first place votes in the poll.
The third-ranked Mercyhurst Lakers are 8-0 on the season and on the heels of the #2 Le Moyne College Dolphins, who also boast a perfect 8-0 record this season. All three teams did not move places from last week’s poll.
Dowling College moved up one spot and is now tied with Bentley University at No. 5. The Golden Lions sit at 7-1 on the year while the NYIT Bears maintained their No. 7 ranking with an overall record of 5-3.
The East Coast Conference has four teams listed in the poll, which is the most of any conference in Division II.
