ECC Weekly Honor Roll
Dylan Fasoyiro, Daemen (Jr, G - Houston, Texas)
Shot 68-percent (15-for-22) from the field and a perfect 9-of-9 from the charity stripe and averaged a team-high 19.5 points and a team-high 7.5 rebounds during a 2-0 week, Totaled 16 points, seven rebounds, two blocks, and two steals in a 56-53 win at D'Youville and went 10-of-12 from the field and totaled 23 points, seven boards, two blocks, and two steals in an 80-70 win at UDC.
DeVante Jamison, St. Thomas Aquinas (Jr, G - Dorchester, Mass.)
Jamison averaged 18.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in two contests last week. The red-shirt junior guard recorded 17 points, two rebounds, and two assists at Queens, before posting a 20-point, three-rebound, two-assist, three-steal effort against Molloy.
Nicholas Johnson, Roberts Wesleyan (Sr, F - Silver Springs, Md.)
Johnson nearly averaged a double-double on the week with averages of 20.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. He also added 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks per game. Johnson began the week with 16 points, nine rebounds, and two steals in a loss to UDC before tallying a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Redhawks to a win over Staten Island. Overall, he shot 48.1 percent on the week (13-for-27).
Jayden Seraphin, Queens (So, G - Lakeview, N.Y.)
Seraphin averaged 13.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.0 blocks as he recorded 26 points, 19 rebounds, seven assists, and four blocks on the week. The sophomore tallied 13 points, seven rebounds, and a career-high three blocks against STAC before finishing the week with his first career double-double with 13 points, a career-high 12 rebounds, and five assists against Mercy on Saturday as Seraphin extended his double-digit scoring streak to 10 games.

ECC Team Notes
Daemen: Daemen (12-6, 5-3 ECC) has won an NCAA East Region best seven-straight games and posted road wins at D'Youville and District of Columbia last week. The Wildcats lead the ECC in team defense (65.5 papg) and field goal percentage defense (.416) and have limited 13 of their 18 opponents to 70 points or less this season. Daemen is idle until this weekend when it plays ECC games at Molloy (Jan. 27) and Queens (Jan. 29). |

District of Columbia: UDC went 1-1 on the week in conference play, defeating Roberts Wesleyan for the first time since the 2019-20 season and then falling to Daemen at home. The Firebirds end the first round of conference play with a 4-4 record and head into the second round facing off against STAC on Wednesday |

Mercy: The Mercy College men's basketball team went 0-2 on the week with losses to Molloy and Queens. The Mavericks were led by graduate student Sean Smith Jr. who had 19 points against Molloy. Mercy resumes action on Wednesday when they host Staten Island at 7 p.m. |

Queens: Men's Basketball went 1-1 on the week as they fell to STAC before ending the week with a victory over Mercy College. Tyler Carey averaged 19.0 points, 15.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks as the senior tallied two double-doubles on the week recording 38 points, 31 rebounds, four blocks, and four assists. The Knights open a three-game homestand beginning with D'Youville on Friday before concluding the week against Daemen on Sunday. |

Roberts Wesleyan: Roberts Wesleyan went 1-1 last week to get to 7-10 overall and 5-4 in the ECC. The Redhawks lost to UDC, 79-75 but won at home against CSI, 87-81. Roberts will be off until Feb. 1 when the team hosts STAC. |

Staten Island: The Dolphins went 0-2 on the week suffering a loss in non-conference play against Franklin Pierce on Tuesday and a loss in conference play against Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday. Both games saw the Dolphins attempt to come from behind late, but the Dolphins ultimately fell short in both contests. |

St. Thomas Aquinas: The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Basketball team (17-3, 8-0 ECC) went 2-0 last week, beating Queens (97-81) and Molloy (84-76). STAC will next be in action on January 25 (7:00 p.m.) vs. UDC and January 28 (1:00 p.m.) vs. Staten Island. |
